Entering Week 5 From Seed

Aug 5, 2017
What's going on everyone. BrownDuck here and this is my week 5 post for the beginning of week 5 of Veg. So far so good. I only had about 2 of my seedling from last week pulled out due to the fact that they were probably duds and they weren't growing anymore after weeks of adjustment to nutrients and soil. Genetics were probably not that great after all, so in the trash they go. The rest of the plants are doing great. One is suffering from Nitrogen Toxicity so what I did is flush it and it's obvious from the pictures that the one that is suffering is very dark. Strange thing is that it has been feed the same amount of nutrients as the rest, but apparently the salts have been built up in the soil so what I did was drench it and flush some of the salts out to relieve the toxicity. This will fix it as I had the same issue with one of my plants in the last grow, but unfortunately, it will take some time before the flush shows progress. CHANGES: I moved my grow into an empty space in my kitchen due to heat issues in my bedroom. Temps reached 92F and it was way too hot in there. Secondly, I have switched my 2 main plants [(SKUNK HAZE - LEFT RESERVOIR) (NORDLE - RIGHT RESERVOIR)(TOP ROW - BOTH GRAPE APE)(BOTTOM FRONT - ANOTHER CBD NORDLE)] for this grow over to hydroponics and I've invested in some nutrients and reservoirs for my grow. The reservoirs were very easy to build as all I needed was net pots, some kind of medium to hold the plants in, in this case, clay rocks, and nutrient mixed water. There is also 2 air pumps currently operating the hydroponics system to oxygenate the water. Total cost was about 50 USD for everything and the plants placed inside seem to like the idea. It's only been 1 day since I placed them in the system, so the hydroponics transplant should show next week with vigorous and healthy growth. I'm feeding my hydroponic plants General Hydroponics Flora Nova which is a great balanced nutrient for the vegetative stage and also, it has MICRO NUTRIENTS in it. Which is great!

In terms of weight I'm guessing its going to be the DWC method. In terms of quality I'm guessing soil.
